Homeowners, how much are your property taxes and which services do you receive?

I don't know how much I pay but it gets spread out with my monthly mortgage payment so I don't even feel it

I hope you're not in Passaic County. They have the highest property taxes in the US, including Hawaii. My in-laws, in Clifton, own a small duplex on a 3/4 lot. Their taxes are over $15k this year. Mine in AL is less than $500 for a 2800 sq/ft ranch on 3 acres.
Property taxes in New Jersey are ridiculous. Partly due to the fact that is how our school systems are funded. In my town, it costs between $12,000-$14,000 per student per year to educate them. And every year my taxes go up. Crazy!

Yeah I have that arrangement too and when the taxes go up so does the mortgage payment amount along with them.

About $1100 for a small raised ranch on just over 2 acres. I forget the mill rate, but it goes towards fire dept, school, etc. We have free recylcing as well.

$1100 1900 sq ft on 3/4 acre lot. We have best snow cleaning anywhere. I swear they are going to wear the street out with the plow. According to my step grandson the county jail is real nice.

my taxes aren't bad, and they keep dropping as the value of my home drops.
woohoo
where they're sticking it to me is in the water bill, it went from $10 a month in 2001 to $60 a month now-a-days.
