I like Petsmart. Selection stinks, but quality is generally quite high indeed!!

Back on topic, I like going to these big places for better prices on equipment but smaller mom pop shops for fish mostly.

I <3 petsmart. They usually have Ottos for $0.99 and those guys always seem to vanish on me. Also they are open to 9pm. Lfs until 6.
But I support my lfs for knick knacks and the possibility of a good find. That nice old couple has been helping me many years, it will be sad when the shop inevitably folds.

I Think that the quality of petsmarts and other chain stores varies according to the quality of the dept managers that are at the different locations
