Ha hell no. I could care less what team moves to Portland. I was saying it would be nice to have a local place to watch my 49ers play what ever team that would be, when they face one another. I don't go to Seattle any more when they face SF.

I don't support our "local" team now so why would I switch?
 
And on a non team related topic, I don't think Portland is an NFL type vibe IMO. I've yet to see a hipster in an NFL jersey around here
 
Lol, I wasnt referring to you switching teams. Just a thought in general on building a fan base in a new city with divided loyalties.

I pretty much hate that city so they wouldn't get an ounce of support from me but I'd go watch other teams there. Same thing i do with the blazers

It's an interest concept to me too. That is what I was eluding to in my last post. Portland of all cities has a very low key and hipster type vibe to it. I just can't get my head around what a Portland NFL fan would look or sound like? Skinny jeans, nerd glasses and a Raider jersey? Ewe..

We are a very divided city when it comes to NFL teams. There are lots of new Seahawk fans now but previous to that you would see a pretty wide split amongst fan basis.
 
They'd have to poach from these newer seahawks fans.....and the youth would grow into fans overtime. It sounds like a 20 year project to establish REAL fans. I see a lot of 503 or blazer logos down here, it'd give those peeps some new ink at least lol

Imma check out the arena football team

Hmmm, if desean Jackson goes to new england, does belichik even know to utilize such a talent? I can see him out running toms passes.....or having the same problem he has now, not wanting to block in the run game

I don't see how he could go to the Pats. Do they have the cap room?
