Just what the title says... After coming home and finding my GT dead (again for the 4th time), I wonder if anybody else has a specie (or species) that you just dont seem to have luck with. For the life of me, I just cant keep green terrors alive. I get them, they grow, seem to do well and at some point seem to die on me. I have had the same experience with chocolate cichlids (tried 3 seperate times) and sajica's ( on my 4th round with them, so far so good). I consider myself a pretty good fish keeper and keep my water right, do twice a week 75% water changes even have discus that I grew out from 2" to now 6 inch, Uarus thriving ect. I know certain species of santoperca and uaru are hard to keep alive, but I want to know if anyone has no luck with the "common" species.

electric blue dempseys I hate them now ...... went through 4 . Texas's I hate them now also . must be the bad strain of them we have around here. ... But yet I have had the best of luck with paratilapia ... go figure !~

I am with you on the green terrors. I have gone thru many really nice ones. Usually have them a few months until something dumb happens such as being killed by smaller ebjd (whom also die)
