Can Anyone Sex These Black Belt Cichlids?

Just picked them up today at the lfs, one i am assuming is a male as it was the most dominant of the group at the store, its about 3 inches. The other which im hoping is a female is a bit less colorful and 2.5 inches. I know theyre very hard to sex when young but i wanted to see what you guys think. Thanks!

I'd say still to small. You should be able to make a more accurate guess at around 5-6 inches. That's when mine was sexed to be a female although I honestly still have no accurate idea cause I haven't vented it myself

Got it, i may just go buy a few more juvies to increase me odds of a pair forming from the group then just bring the others back to the lfs

Not ime they take around a year to a year and half before any breeding interest was shown
