I've spent all morning rearranging the garage which meant moving the fish tank.

Just got to hang the light and clean up, then the man cave is ready to roll :)

..And yes there is room for tank/s underneath ;)

I like your stand. Did you buy it or make it yourself?

By the way, is it just me or is the fish selection fairly good in Brisbane? I grew up in Sydney, but lived in Brisbane for 3 years from 2006. Back in Sydney now and I find that for both saltwater and fresh water, the selection is fairly slim in most LFS's. I always seemed to find good variety right across Brisbane though, when I was there.

Thanks, I had it made for other tanks which are now long gone. I suppose there is a decent variety here, but half of it will cost you an arm and a leg.

So is this white saum different to an "Andinoacara stalsbergi" ?

Yep, here's a Stalsbergi. See how the scales on the body are green/blue on black, where as the scales on a rivulatus are black on green/blue! If that makes sense lol

I do not own the above fish nor the photo.

I can see why this would be called a green terror because it actually looks green not like your white saum then. I have recently bought a white saum its about 7-8cm I just have to work out its sex, I am guessing female or is it too early to tell? White saum Andinoacara stalsbergi.jpg

Its not that big a deal. I will know if it decides to breed because it is in a tank with a male blue acara and I am sure they will give it a go if its a female lol.

Not having much luck finding a lady friend for him...

I'm thinking about rehoming the bristlenose or at least one of them. The amount of poop these little buggers produce is amazing. I'm doing 2x 30% water changes a week with vacuuming and still can't keep the sand clean lol.
