silver aro tankmates

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Haha, I suppose if the tank is big enough that the fish never come in contact with one another then it may be possible

Actually as long as the tank is big enough coming in contact will be fine as well as long as said fish has escape space.

Yeah, a gar can't snatch up an aro in one swipe, nor can a rtc attempt to eat a ray unless he corners it... smh.

+1. Given space, many fish encounters will end quickly and peacefully.
The problem is, with certain monster fish it only takes one go at one another to possibly lose one, if not both fish. If 99% of encounters go just fine, there is still the 1% that ends in the death of a high dollar fish. Given the logic that keeps being pushed here, I should be able to keep a snake head with koi as long as they have plenty of space...

I'm planing to house both, asilver and an aro but just if the aro is way bigger. If they are of the same size or almost I do not risk an arowana! I mean for me is my ultimate fish . I can risk any other fish but not an aro.
