Nice bass bro, it looks very similar to the tocantins I have which came from D.O.

Same fish today, pictures are in the same sequence as earlier pictures above:

I'm digging the patterns on your RA's bro. The bass in your second pic looks a bit different, possibly 2 spot bahia or maybe something super rare like a ceara or sao francisco?

A lot of similarity to 2 0f my 3 Chizzle. Very nice!... & their transformation has started by the look of it. You will see them developing more blotching on their bellies & some color under their jaws & gills soon!

I found this old video I made of these 3 Araguaia when they first arrived… I thought that 2-spot was special the day they arrived & I was right! Some have the "ugly Duckling" theory about good looking adult fish, but this one you can see a better structure & potential for coloration when it was tiny…. IMO!:

Damn isn't it crazy how kels develop aslong as you have the time to wait for them to.... Like how you got pics of the different stages. That smoking looking one is going to get even better as time goes by. How big do you think he is? Probably the most developed one out of the batch so far in the states anyway.

They are all about 12-13", but the one with all the bling is just a lot thicker. It's like he went through puberty early & is already shaving while the others are still like kids!
