Arowana and atf long term?

Anyone keep two large specimens together?... can it work in the long run....example 25inch aro and 25 inch atf together?

I watched a video on youtube of a large tigerfish tearing the head off of an even larger silver aro. Never tried it myself, but that would be a crappy loss if there was one. I wouldn't want to lose an arowana of that size lol
 
I think having a tank on standby wouldn't really help unless it was the aro picking on the ATF. One bite from the atf and the aro would most likely be a goner, or at least an amputee. lol
 
Large atfs are generally solo tanks cause they are outright mean fish, and those teeth shred anything it can get its jaws around, iv seen vids of 2foot atf tearing a 3foot aros guts out and leaving it for dead, haven't seen a big atf with tankmates.

No one can be totally sure whether it's going to work. It is more like gambling and you have to be psychologically prepared to lose. If not, don't gamble.
