720 gallon tank my first monster tank

I don't really follow any body , but this should be a super cool build! I'm curious who would build a glass tank and silicon A plexiglass bottom in it ?

Not sure who built it but the bottom is a 1 1/2 inches thick and it's like a hard plastic

Could be like my DAS tank... are you sure its not a wood bottom covered with F.R.P. (hard black plastic) or something of the like.

Still following along, looks like you're heading ib a good direction

Wow what an amazing find and steal! Such a shame they threw all the pumps away. I'm sure it's gonna cost a pretty penny to get up and running again but totally worth it!

There's a very good chance it was built by AGE aquariums out of Texas they do glass and acrylic hybrid tanks.

just looked at their website a lot of the tanks look like mine... plus its a pvc bottom and the top bracing is exactly the same

That's great news, what an incredible deal / set up . It's hard to find stuff like that on the east coast .

Bulk heads finally came in, I got everything plugged except one which I will use for a drain. I ended up getting it filled only 5 inches, will fill the rest of the way tomorrow or Thursday

Got it filled tonight everything is hiding at this time no leaks so far praying there isn't also I had to get in it to tighten a plug on one of the bulk heads about froze super cold water
