Exactly. It wasn't so bad at even 200k a brick but with so many air attacks I'm hesitant to do black walls. I'm running out of things to upgrade though so they might get a Lil love but I doubt it. Rather start saving for the 2 xbows in TH9
What level are your hogs?
Im faming that @ss up with Hogs. In the last month i've upgraded the following...
2 Max Inferno
3 Max Wiz towers
Max Freeze
Max Wall Breakers
King/Queen one level
1 Air D to lvl 6
later today i'll put in Max Lightning after the Samurai Siege tourney.
Most say Hogs are dead but I've found a trick to using them
We talking taking down max heroes and cc. Those big bases I get 1 or 2 star but if its a base with 75% or less maxed on defense, chances are i'm 3 star'n
Hit me on gc, i'll visit in the next donation reset and explain how I use them. If you use or want to know that is lol.

Someone attacked me with a pack of hogs...unfortunately for him, his hogs jumped around and landed on a spot where my giant bomb is and also covered by 2 level 6 mortars. With in a second, two dozen hogs became barbecue bits...

Nice. Using Hogs is an art now days, not everyone can use them lol. Gowiwi seems to be the choice of hunters (GOlem, WItch, WIzard).
I am just farming around gold 3-gold 2
for gold these days. Barbarian + Archer to 50% a base and loot mines and collectors is what mostly do.
Cheap attack, quick too.
I'll change that once I encounter level 8 walls.

I'm a lvl 83, maxed out th 8, still working on finishing my wall. Totally stoked for the upgrade with clan wars. My Clan is the Knight Riders
Been playing too long lol. I have a christmas tree with lights from 2012. I started around Sept or Oct 2013. Took a 6-8 month vacation so i'm a little behind most of my friends. I remember the day I started, I have the exlixir glitch for about 4hrs then it was corrected
