So just watch out if u put it a pond and it get to 2+metres, and you go to clean the pond. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! lol

I have never heard of one past 35inch in captivity. even in the biggest aquariums.

Indian goonches have eaten people who were swimming, swallowed them whole. When u see a fully grown goonch u will understand how. Just watch 'river monsters khali killer'

I don't believe this. Ya they can get huge but there's no actual record if them actually eating a living person. Only the pieces that the culture puts in the rivers when their people die

Yeah. Jeremy Wade made it clear that goonch eating live buffalo and people are most likely myths.

I finally got around to naming this fish and I decided to name him/her Ravana. Ravana in Hindu mythology is basically the equivalent for the devil.

Just curious. Do you have powerheads on the bottom? Mine would always just chill in front of the powerheads but I noticed yours doesn't. He's lookin good though!

Yeah bro. there is a powerhead in the tank you can see it behind the goonch in the last photo.
