Yeah its a cosmetic thing. Bought him when he was like 3 inches. He had this already. Ever since i got him I've been doing 1/4 water changes weekly and adding salt, but its not working. I guess he is just like that. They say you can cut them off, but i don't have a steady hand ahaha.
Just so you know for the future, you shouldn't use salt with catfish. Hope you find him a good home

and as mentioned in previous RTC threads, it may be hard to give away a large RTC, much less sell one. good luck finding him a good home
