What's the name of the fish store in buffalo that had them for sale ?

Its not in buffalo but outside it, asked a couple other LFS n none of em ship sorry man but its called 42 aquatics, they had em in with the ebjds and normal jds

No problem, I wouldn't mind trying to ship an air breather like a bichir but I feel you need one of those oxygen pumps to shop cichlids especially pretty far

I just saw some at Rainbow Pet Shop this weekend. There were about 2 or 3 of them. They call them Platinum Blue Dempseys. $29.99 about 1 1/2 to 2 inches in size. (818) 891-6366 9066, Woodman Ave., Arleta, CA 91311. In the San Fernando Valley. Almost bought one myself.

Pink is a recessive gene due to inbreeding which causes the color deficiency making some jd pink otherwise known as gold jack dempseys. Gold jack dempsey bred with an electric blue jack dempsey makes a pink or aka platinum jack dempsey. They have the same color of both gold and electric blue. Hope this helped

tnx Jess. Im just gonna chill now since I know they are just platinums. I can get them later anytime.

I like how fun these JDs genes became.. But I dont like the fact to deal with genome fry. Im already assuming that most normal looking JDs in lfs are all gene carriers of these gold/EB. It's been around ten years for me already since I learned about powder Blue JD. And I know ppl breed them and dump the normal lookers anywhere they can(which is a loooooot)
