How do you know they are pairing off? Its weird cause they cant lip lock. Also is it okay if the parrot is bigger than the texas? I think the texas is male and parrot is femaleImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1398247146.054833.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1398247153.671191.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1398247160.673025.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1398247168.583223.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1398247203.699721.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1398247212.806690.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1398247220.121286.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1398247225.906411.jpg

No it doesn't matter if the BP is bigger than the Texas cichlid, one way to tell if their pairing off is what's called "courting dance". It's when they'll start flaring their fins, and tail slap whipping each other, also if you notice them shaking vigorously side to side really really fast. Kind of looks like the fish is having a heart attack lol.

Watch this video, it shows what I mean.
