Cichlids to breed in a 75

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yeah most will get nasty at some point, keyholes are very mellow? and they can go into most community tanks i think? so would widen the market for selling the fry.

Keyholes are a great option ,but they stress easy...one advantage is they are hardy when it comes to water params

Sajica are perfect! I have a male and a female and they hate each other. They are tough like convicts, grow slow and max out at like 5-6 inches. They are territorial, but they chase fish away for like 2 inches. They look awesome when they're adult. only problem is they grow slow.

I like sajicas but IME they're just as if not more common than cutteris. I'm looking for something I can make a profit off the fry. I like the cichlasoma idea, maybe I need to broaden my search for more than just cichlids.

ah thats a shame, they're very hard to come by here :(

I can imagine being that you're in Australlia. In my area it's quite the opposite, can't go to a store without seeing some amatitlania, Cryptoheros, or Archocentrus type fish :)

I'll take some later.

About how much money per fry could I make off the Cutteri I have now? 4 of the fry are about 1/6" and the rest are <1/8"
