I don't think anyone is expecting the owners not to vote him out. I'm just expecting what seems like an ornery older man who was/is a lawyer to draw it out with injunctions, hearings, appeals, ect. Just because the likely outcome is the same doesn't mean it won't go down without a fight.

He's being terminated for "conduct that is determined to be prejudicial or detrimental to the NBA" (clause from nba constitution & bylaws)
what he did this time was not just being prejudiced himself, but was also a personal directive for someone else to discriminate with regard to her NBA associations. telling her to keep it in the closet.

He wasnt blatantly dismissive of earvin. In fact he spoke glowingly of him. No way this is a story without the past allegations to paint a larger picture

If it's all done in public then we'll find out more about the owner's contract and what portions of his contract are legally enforceable. Should be interesting from a legal standpoint.

I didn't mean it doesn't help the story. just that the part that's enforceable with the NBA, are his directives to V Stiviano, in recordings.
