Well she went in earlier this morning to get spayed

Was supposed to be included in her 450$ 1 year puppy plan but after meds, surgery time, collar and micro chip it was 130$! Banfield really needs to be upfront with their costumers whom care about their pets! Would think surgery time is included? That's half the $$$

Well its official! No more uterus... bloodwork was great and so was the surgery! Also got her micro chipped. She's still a little high from the anesthesia (gas & IV), she falls asleep standing up LOL, reminds me of my party days



She still has her appetite and her tail hasn't quit wagging since we left the hospital. All in all a good day


I know a few of you advised me against this cuz she's still a youngster @ 6 months (and I sincerely appreciate your advice/concern) but our Vet went over the pros of having it done early on in her life opposed to later. There are definite opposing sides to the matter but at least she's fixed and all went well

Nice! I'm not too experienced with females but its for sure better for males to be neutered early ime, are her eyes differing colors or is it just the pic? I've always wanted a dog like that haha

Yea a blue eye and a brown eye! Hopefully it will stay that way cuz that makes her unique and cute as hell

Yes huskies are awesome! Such good dogs. Haven't seen that episode yet but sounds legit!

Thankz! Too bad my gf couldn't help but feed her after we brought her home and we woke up to some insane diarrhea in her crate and on the walls. It was literally a nightmare I wouldn't wish upon my enemies! Funny the vet warned us of loose stools in 48 hours. Guess who cleaned up the crap? Not I!

She's such a cutie! Normally it's ideal to get them spayed after their first heat, but since all went well you don't have to worry about that
Oh, and since you said she still has her appetite: It will be immense from now on

Never considered how she would change after being spayed. Just thought she will stop humping my gf leg lol. Anything else to expect or alter with her routine now?
