My Firebird is all stock now, stock 350 and th350 tranny. I hope to repaint it next year. I also like second gen F bodies, I also have a 70 RS Camaro. Its stock also, 350 etc.. 300 hp mabe?
My 72 Vega is my toy. Im getting a small block together for it slowly. Shooting for around 600 hp out of a 400 inch motor.

Warborg, I might have a Mustang that could change your mind about the V6 idea. I spent a little time to prove that dollar per dollar, you can buy and build a V6 to more power than the same model year V8 in a Mustang. Granted, I've owned all sorts of motor options in Mustangs.... but I shocked a LOT of people showing what the V6 was really all about.

I think his point was the old saying, there's no replacement for displacement.. A V8 with the same mods will always over power a V6..

Gotta love the chevy vega, not the prettiest, but lots of room under the hood, like cramming a crapload of horsepower into a matchbox car
