Wes, have any of those snapper ever been imported into the US? I love snapper but unfortunately all of the ones around here are all salt water of course. Today I caught a few American Red Snapper in the 15-18lb range, such a beautiful fish and STRONG tenacious fighters! I had them chummed up eating from the surface.

Cichla intermedia - there. I came up with one that I believe should be possible seeing as how my other two "impossible" fish requests were ignored haha.

There are at least 3 types of reds

super flower masheer - never seen outside of its native range
Red masher - I have one big one that my friend caught years ago, that's it, I have seen for sale maybe once or twice.
Pinkish ones - I have seen them on and off, but they don't consistently turn pink or red and also not until much later in age. In my opinion, most people just get bored of growing and waiting for a giant carp to turn red

The first one, flower masher is bright red at 6"!!!

These flower mahseers sound like heaven. I've seen the pics of yours, it's one of my favorite fish out of your collection! Ever bringing mussulah in again?
