Really? what's your big tanks stock from what I remember you having in there they seem like they could go in now. I however may be the exception, but I keep 5" polys with about 10" polys and didn't have any problems. I actually have some 5" sens with my 16" Koliba, 14" koloton, and 12" faranah endli. thats still not including the 3-4 other polys I have over 10" in there with them.

Its not the other polys I'm worried about really, the ornate at about 9 inch is the biggest threat from bichirs but bloody face my 8 inch red wolf is. I could see him thinking they're worms and trying to eat em.
I could also see him give em one good bite just like he usually does and that do bad damage

Thanks man they're getting pretty thick about as thick as a sharpie lol much thicker then my CB endlis at not much shorter then them. They've been eating NLS cichlid pellets as a staple and live blackworms or frozen bloodworms a couple times a week
Another danger of my bigger tank, my pbass lol he's at about 5 inch and has tried to eat bigger fish them. Never a bichir but I'd hate for the first one to be one of my teugs haha

Some recent full body shots, mine are for sure at 5 inch. Gonna do WCs every 2 days so they beef up well they gotta go in the main soon

Gonna start all my predators on silversides soon, I don't like the idea of feeding dirty farmed tilapia so they sound like a good replacement and I'm sick of squeezing the dirt out of worms haha
