Stirring up the pellet debris lol

These guys have been a joy to keep, very active for bichir standards, got on pellets immediately, have gorgeous patterns and colors and healthy as can be. I wish there was F1 CBs of every specie haha. Yours are looking great bichisaur!

Thanks

you're right, these teugs are really active. Do you think it has something to do with them being juvies?

Possibly that and being CB, since they were tank raised they're more comfortable in a tank leading them to be more active. As we see in CB Del's and Senegal's and Endlis who are usually pretty active. I also think because both of us got more then one each they are more comfortable around one of their own.

James did you get yours from Jeff? That sounds like unrealistic growth

Not sure who the breeder was. She went from 3" to over 10" in just a year. Super active all the time.

+1 I got a teugelsi from segrest farms a couple months after they started carrying them at 3" or so. Mine took a little while to get to about 4"-5" (3-4 months) they it start putting on some major growth. I never really noticed the growth until a couple months ago when I put some 14"-16" LJ in the tank and she was only about 4"-5" shorter. She still is a competitive eater when it comes to dinner time even with some big LJ and seems to keep a good amount of girth throughout her growth.
