omega one has pellets about the size you are looking for

between nls and omega one. which one do you think is better? if nls is better i will go with their 6mm pellet its for an oscar and bichir so no problem on size, I just want to stick with the 3mm pellet for now if possible

I use the sinking carnivore and can say honestly that while NLS is a good product, nothing really comes close to the Hikari with this product. This is basically a small version of the Massivore. It is a high calorie item that really puts size on fish. I use it with my bichir and got awesome growth. This is a product that Hikari makes that is a winner in my book.

I really agree with you. My bichir and oscar has never been better in color and health once i started feeding them with sinking carnivore, but unfortunately I cannot find someone who can ship here in my location in the ph so i'm trying to find a pellet that has the same or maybe almost the same quality with the hikari carnivore

Death not trying to hijack the thread but I was thinking this same thing so..... what size sinking pellet can I use for a small yellow acara about 2.5 inches ? He stays on the lower half of the tank and likes to sift. Also what brand ?

My fish HATE nls but love it at the same time. Its so dense they have trouble eating it. (Note I do get the correct size haha) But my fish seem to prefer hikari CarniSticks as they can just munch it down rather than get 2-3 piece and work on it for a bit and then get another 2-3 pieces. You'll notice it tan's your water brown after about a month of feeding but its not too bad.

And to jaws nls makes great sinking pellets, you do have to throw it in the water to make sure it sinks but for a 1-4 inch fish I would go for a 1mm pellet. I honestly would get a small container to test it out and see if your fish like it. My bulgill's love it but my fh's/jardini/jag/koi seem to have a tough time consuming it at appropriate sizes.
