Mahi Mahi in a tank.. LOL WHAT??

Damn! If that thing survives it would be one of the coolest fish ever in an aquarium. I give those odds little to none though just cuz public aquariums have failed to keep sailfish, swordfish, marlin etc alive and these guys require the same type of care.

odds of it surviving ar very small even in public aquariums but not impossible i think . Tunas , mola molas , whale sharks and even great white shark been kept in huge public tanks .
 
I don't know about the other fish you have listed but the only great white sharks kept alive in captivity are only young juveniles kept for a few days to observe and tag! All adults have died in captivity! The longest to live was a female for 44 days in a 1 million gallon tank at Mantaray Bay she was feeding ok they thought but after they released her she died a week later! Open range fish do not do well in captivity. Researchers are to believe these large fish need the water pressure of the ocean to survive.

The great white you're talking about was released becuz it was eating TOO well. It was eating the other sharks it was housed in so they released it. I didn't know that it died though after it was released. That's a shame

Mahi Mahi are the coolest looking fish ever imo. I always wanted one mounted on my wall. To have one in aquarium would be awesome!!!
