Okay so i went to my local petsmart a week ago and noticed they had a tag that said Red Texas Cichlids so i looked and saw they were all low quality flowerhorns until i saw this one and decided to get it. But for this fish if he puts his mind to it he might become one. But he'll stay below decent for a RT.
ppl buy for a few dollars. U gonna get what you pay for. Like this one to waste their time.

Since its a red texas it wont show the same traits as a whole flowerhorn

I like raising fry up also. But for these guys, best to know the parents, and buy a handful of them as tiny fry. That way the best arent taken out and you might get a good one.
I did that. I bought 20x 1" fry and I got a few nice ones. This was my favorite one. Parents are: Green carpinti male X Faded RT female
