1st, the NBA is governed by California laws when conducting business in this state...2nd...According to your theory, because the NBA is based in New York, then the NBA by-laws only apply to the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets?
to make things clear to you ,,his ONLY HOPE, would be A FEDERAL LAWSUIT...YOU EVER HEARD OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT? they have jurisdiction , guaranteed

STFU?It just happen, your best friend sterling wants his wife to sell the team and you swore he would never sell. How's the crow taste big mouth

Yes, STFU...Please! Anyways, I'm out. Going to Malibu Beach house for the weekend to enjoy this beautiful Cali weather. Definitely will not be eating crow...maybe some fresh fish tacos...yummm! Maybe by the time I get back next week their will be something newsworthy and factual to discuss. Until then...may the conjecture run rampant...Have a nice Memorial Day weekend!

It's an interesting question as operation within the state often does subject an organization to state laws, at least in matters within said state, regardless of where it's base of operations is located.

it would (or will) come down to federal contract or anti- trust laws(and that's why sterling wouldn't have chance, the feds give pro sports a wide berth, and always have....MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL is the only entity in the WHOLE country exempt from anti - trust laws)

We'll have crow tacos waiting for you after the vote in June. You're probably lying about Malibu too. Work on your backpedal during your extended weekend though

Lovin this thread guys

Weird to see lee and Eddie on the same side though I must say

yeah this is pretty good:D
My thought on this now, is it makes sense not to try and battle this out in court. But I'm wondering if Sterling may be working on something backstage to influence who buys and at how much?

he bought the franchise for 15 MILLION,REPEAT MILLION...HE'S gonna pocket over A BILLION(LAST RUMOR)..I don't think he cares who gets it...there are supposedly 10 groups interested in bidding:popcorn: STERLING is gonna make out like the blind squirrel finding the acorn, considering he is widely recognized as the WORST managing partner in sports

Well Id still be greedy. But Id take less money if it meant not selling to Oprah. Id rather sell to a "friend"
and tell myself Im having the last laugh. I think the Nba can only do so much as far as approval goes.
