Okay so I'll be making a trip down to Destin,Fl and I was just wondering if there is any shops or stores there that sell South American cichlids worth checking out?

Unfortunately, Destin is a wasteland when it comes to shops carrying FW fish. I don't believe there are any presently. There used to be a store for SW some years ago. Don't know if it's still around. You might have more success in Fort Walton or Mary Ester but don't expect much. Or Pensacola, about an hour away.
well my hotel is in fort walton but maybe your right ill have more success in the fort Walton area ill continue to see if there any!
Water world in Pensacola was my favorite when I lived down there.

Did you? Those guys never have anything in stock that I like and when I've asked about ordering things they act like it's impossible and want a 300% markup if they can manage to do it, even when you're talking about 300-400$ worth of juvie fish. They love to talk saltwater though...=/
