Can someone tell me if this will work?

Hey guys just a question I have a standard 75g I have a 7 inch midas and 3 convicts about an inch or so and I wanted to add schooling fish maybe 6 tiger barbs??? I do 50 % WC every week with 2 ac70s will I be ok thanks!

The Midas would kill the tiger barbs, a larger schooling fish like giant danios may work.

Oh ok just dont wanna buy 6 and them shredded but the convicts arnt that large and they are able to live with him

Convicts hold there own much more than tiger barbs there tuff little cichlids

Convicts are a lot different than tiger barbs, I've seen convicts take on fish many times there size.

Well the convicts are not standing up to the midas at all lol so there not "taking on him", they are just faster.

They will avoid a fight if they can especially with a Midas , if they produce fry though it'll be a different story they will defend them and there territory till the end
