FTS=Full Tank Shot

I haven't added any new Driftwood. Just the 3 original pieces of manzanita. I had the one Panaque for 6+ years. Now that he was getting some size to him he was making a dent on the wood. Mainly chewing through the smaller branches making them fall to the substrate, but I really like the natural look this creates. I'm working on getting a bunch of new wood for the tank, just can't find any I like at the moment. Now with 5 good sized Panaques in there I'm gonna need at the driftwood I can get. Plecos were my 1st love, I have dabbled in a few other areas but I always wind up back here. I found the key is to have a few pretty fish to keep the wife interested. Plus to the untrained eye most panaque species look similar so I can sneak them in without her noticing, lol.

Dame man read through your other thread on the busted tank, I feel for ya on that, but everything works out in the end. Great tank and setup

Yea that almost killed the hobby for me. Luckily I have an amazing wife who saw how devastated I was and got me the best gift ever!

I actually took the time to clean my glass. Also my L128 always looks greenish in these pics, I swear he is totally blue in person!

Also an update on the JC1119/ Tetra Pond Box sump design.

After a year or so of sock changes only. I did a thorough cleaning yesterday. It took about 2 hours. This was to remove pumps, boxes, heaters And socks. And remove every spec of sawdust and gunk (not a lot by the way) and put it all back together. I have ordered socks in bulk to the point where they are now cheap enough to throw away instead of washing them. And with boy #2 due end of this month that will make life easier. Overall I couldn't be happier with this sump design. I also added more media. I now have 8lbs of rings and over a gallon of matrix.

1st problem with the new stocklist. 1of my new Plecos has IP's. Its my fault. I don't currently have a QT tank and I bought a bunch of WC Plecos. Given my current stock list, what would be the best meds to treat the whole tank (285g~) his belly is only slightly sunken and he is still eating, but I wanna treat everyone just to be safe.
