My First Natives :)

Update: they're all now moved into the 30 gallon. Darters and sunfish doing great and eating live brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms. Sadly I doubt the chub will make it since his caudal peduncle and caudal fin are all red and he has a wound under his gills close to his heart. Sunfish will have the 30 to itself when it starts to get territorial but by then I should have the darters moved to a 20 tall.

Yah, I have a green sunfish and it is super territorial, they definitely need there own tank and only one in it. Maybe you could get a male and a female to work but I have never tried it. They are vary pretty and hardy and they like to interact with you though.

Just why I got one, like mini native oscars with only more aggressive :) I'd love a pair but any more than one in a 30 is pushing it IMO.
