Well,once the the intruders were killed off near the end the neighbors just started acting weird like they all were in some kind of trance or something and that killed it for me.They should have kept it at everyday normal people trying to survive this horrifying anarchistic situation but they took it into another direction.
Not sure but I'm guessing sometime this summer.I saw the previews the last time I was at the movies.
Now that you mentioned that scene, I can agree that it seems weird for them to suddenly flip a switch like that. Even if murder really became legal, I have no desire to kill someone...so why would I act like the 'evil' people?
Also they killed the intruders....why didn't that fix the 'purge' for them?
The movie was entertaining. That's really all I think the purpose was.

It was but that curve ball of an ending hampered my enjoyment lol.I'm guessing some things will be explained in the sequel.
I liked it. It's easy for me to still like movies even If they have errors in them.
