Looking for the best affordable lighting for a 72" (6 foot) tank.. anyone have ideas/suggestions from past exp?.. really appreciate any and all help! thx!

If its just fish a shop light will work. They sell them at home depot or lowes and are like 11 bucks last time I got one. Bulbs ended up more than the fixture. It isnt pretty and isnt very bright but is a cheap way to see your fish

What does affordable mean to you? Most consider the Beamswork LED's as an affordable fixture....

I would agree in regards to the Beamswork LED's. You would have to do a bit of investigating, but I bet the electricity savings alone would quickly pay the difference in cost between it and a shop light. That doesn't even take into consideration the replacement bulbs for the shop light.

That is an awesome sale price by the way. You could even add in the timer and still be under the $200 budget.... just have to wait till stock comes in.

The Beamswork lights are really nice. Bought mine about 3 months ago and not one issue with it. .

If it were me I think I would want one 72" fixture as opposed to two 36" ones. Just a cleaner look about it.
