big fish cave?

Ive used big pots before. Just be careful to wash them well of youve used it for plants before. Fish in my avatar loved his 11" pot. Some prefer if you smash the bottom out so they can go through more of a tunnel than cave
Depends on size of the midas, but ones that are less than full grown, a PVC pipe is an option. They come in very large inner diameter readings, and iirc can be cut with a simple hacksaw. Plastic or terracotta pots are also very easy to manage, although you may need a tool to cut the plastic pot. Regardless, if you cut or break the pot or pipe, be sure to sand down or rub down any sharp edges.
Personally, I find the terracotta more attractive especially the earthy tones. I'd also only choose the unpainted or unglazed terracotta as I am not sure if the paint or glazing is inert.
Just be sure to get brand new ones as terracotta will absorb water borne or air borne chemicals/pesticides whether in gardens, homes or left out in garden supply sheds. Give them a good soaking in a light bleach solution, scrub and rinse thoroughly and you should be fine.

Large PVC works for me. You can use straight pieces cut to size or stack and bond them together for hide structures. I've had fish that preferred the bends of elbow or T pieces as well. Had a large Midas female that loved to grab the end of her PVC cave and move it from end to end of her aquarium.
Garden bricks work well for caves or I like to find old slate rocks and hack off big flat slabs make sure there are no sharp corners then I lean the rocks against the glass = perfect cave with a view for you
