Upcoming Movies and TV shows

the market has been saturated with bruce lee related movies. it's getting to be a bit much for me personally.

even Donnie yen has said that he's not going to be doing anymore ip man or bruce lee movies because of the oversaturation.

how are they gonna do a whole movie revolving around a fight with lee and man? all there is to know really is lee's wife's account of the fight. she said basically when the fight started bruce chased the guy around for a while until he caught him and it ended real quick once he got a hold of him.

I agree Sumo. About the over saturation, and about the actual fight possibly not being able to carry a movie, but that's the way it is with kung fu movies. In the beginning it was Wong Fei Hung, probably 1000 movies
about him, literally, maybe more. Ip Man didn't have nearly that many, Bruce now, and I think Lau Kar Leung will be next. I'm gonna watch all of them!! Matter of interest I guess.

I don't know, there are a lot of ip man movies. like at least 6, no? and that's only counting the movies where he's the main character. and they've all come out within the last like decade or two. that's a lot when you consider you're only making a movie about one guy
 
Saw Defiance and Dominion

Defiance is mostly the same when it left(as far as it's style)... It was ok

Dominion was pretty good. The only downside is the Earth is in despair like Defiance. Having watched them back to back you can't but compare the two
 
Dominion couldn't keep me interested,I tried to watch it earlier.These kinds of shows that are on tv just look too cheesey.Like most of the SyFy crap....as for movies,I am so looking forward to seeing Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Hmmm...I didn't think it was chessy and it held my attention, however they need to keep this speed up. If it slows down any...it could end up lost.
 
Cheesey might be too harsh a word for Dominion but all of the science fiction/fantasy/non reality based adventure shows all seem to have the same feel to me and I can't get into them...I haven't tried Falling Skies yet and here's hoping The Last Ship will deliver.

I've been watching Falling Skies since it started, it's a pretty good show.
