Gravel/sand I just don't know

I'll try to ask this question before I make another thread....

i use use aquarium salt. I understand you don't want to with planted tanks....which mine is now. Is it safe to add salt if I add fertilizer?

Why are you adding salt? It's not needed and I only use it if I need to treat anything with it. Don't add salt if you want your plants to do well.

I add salt just for the fish health. But I a, stopping that now thanks

on a sad note I lost an angelfish last night... he was floating at the top and is extremely fat. Sad cuz he was the male of the pair.

i have heard some stuff messes with your ph levels
