my baby oscar dying

recently i bought a albino Oscar about 3 inches in the store he was laying on his side and underfed so i decided to take him home and i put him in my 20 gallon temp tank until he got bigger for my pond. but now he is laying on his side breathing heavily. there is few baby angel fish in the tank and they are doing fine. i recently went back to the store and most of the oscars were dead i think they have a disease any way to help my oscar. my tank ammonia is 0,ph 7, nitrates 0 i want to save him guys pls help

Obviously sick in the first place, and coming from likely terrible conditions. he may be having osmotic shock from suddenly being put into clean water. A for effort, but I fear the worst on this one. All you can hope for is that he survives, and also didnt bring any disease to possibly infect your angels. Good luck.

Looking underfed is likely from internal parasites, which can kill fish, especially young ones who need more nutrition than adults.
