Longest time you've starved your Datnoids?

It got quite thin yes. It would only eat earthworms when I got it and I starved to get it onto prawn.
It now eats prawn stuffed with pellets and the occasional pellet by itself.
I have lost one before trying to starve it so it is not a method that I generally like and I do think you need to be very careful when doing it
 
UPDATE:

Seems like I got one datnoid to consistently eat bloodworm soaked pellets now :D Woot!

The other 3 are still the same :/ hopefully they'll get a clue soon hahah..
 
Just keep at it till they all do it. I think this is the worse part about having dats.
