I never looked into the reviews and how well it did at the box office.
over all they should do a sequel though. there are plenty of movies that don't need sequels but for this movie I think they should. it's got the right things going on to continue it
the only thing i'd say they should've did a better job on was being more ambiguous at the end. I mean, they blew up the portal and pretty much ending the story. but I guess there's easy ways around that

reminds me of all the stereotypical jokes about Asians and giant monsters
just looked it up, according to Wikipedia the movie failed to break even with budget/box office numbers but with world wide box office included they raked in over double the budget of the film

Yeah i read that no ideas or concept from the first movie will be repeated except for 5 characters being brought back. It's not coming out til 2017 though

Lol, yeah, it should stand separately on its own according to the director. I imagine he meant no portal and diff jaeagers and kaeji. Prob kaeji with better attack plans after that guy mind surfed with them from movie one

At the end of the show it showed a newspaper in the future(2024) which had the Flash missing. Also there is mention of Red Skies which tied into a major storyline that involved a multiuniverse where there were lots of super heroes.

I saw previews for a show that starts next month called Legends.It stars Sean Bean,the guy who played Ned Stark in GOT and it looks promising.
