Hello

I was trying to get an algae eating pleco that would work in my Tanganyikan tank and was trying to find a starlight bristlenose.

After realizing how hard they are to find, I compromised on flash pleco.

I did research to an extent but I'm seeing confusing info on whether I must give them wood or if I can supplement with veggies.

Does anyone know if I can supplement a flash pleco's diet with something and not give them wood or if they will die if they don't get wood?

I tried to cancel the order with somethingsphishy.com before the day they were to ship the fish but they have an inflexible cancelation policy.

Thanks

Stephen

Yeah, if I find it has to have wood then I'll have to give it to them. Just a drag when I'm trying to keep my pH up.

Thanks

I've never owned one but from what I have been told they aren't as good as a bristlenose but they do still eat algae

Ok, thanks. Same here if I find any.
