You mean you can temporarily growout pbass in a 20?

Hey davion, just wondering why you always ask this question. You don't need a large tank to grow out baby bass. They are more likely to feel insecure in a large tank at that size. That's why baby bass in the wild hang out in the shallows of the river, near the banks or similar locale. Of course at some point early on, you should move them to an appropriate size tank.

The reason I am asking is sometimes people say to provide a large tank from the get go, so that they could grow to their fullest potential.

I put all my baby pbass growouts in a 10 gallon, imo its easier to quarantine, pellet train and do water maintenance. It has worked out great for me
