I posted the passing of Johnny Winter here in the lounge the other day. One of my all time favorites.

That s ok the thread only had one reply and 48 views. Most people on here are too young to know who he was or the level of Blues and slide gutiar player he was. I think he was one of the best that ever lived and was a big influance on some of the greats like Eric Clapton. Both B.B. King and Muddy Waters both said if they had any impact on the Blues at all it was their infulance on Johnny Winter.
 
One last one from David Bowie, Ian Hunter & Mick Ronson with Lou Reed doing "All the young Dudes", The Mott The Hoople Classic. Mott the who? Haha, give it a listen, music on this thread was starting to tank. I saw Mott at the Felt Forum in 1973 with the New York Dolls great stuff.
