Then why did he come out(during his football thing)? Why did he kiss another man when he was drafted...full well knowing the football media was there?
I saw that nothing less then him pushing the g@y agenda onto the football world. If you think this will fade away I doubt the LGBT community will agree with you.
I think I'm done already. I've said all I can say about Dungy/Sam issue without being able to read his mind. IMO, Dungy meant what he said. Had Sam never publicly come out(even if Dungy knew he was g@y). I doubt this would have been brought up.jaws7777 said:

Changing tides are here. Whether we're ready for them or not. In 25 years there will be married g@y people all around us and we'll all be wondering what the big deal was about back then. Why did it take so long? Why weren't they always treated equally? Why did anyone care?
Some people's religious beliefs require them to be bigoted. Other people don't like what's different. Same debate, just a new context in a different time.

I dont really feel he "came out" before the draft as every one of his teammates from college already knew it for years. I think he wanted to get ahead of the storm and announced it to the rest of the world so it wouldn't be the dirty secret being asked during the combines and team meetings.
Maybe he does have a secret agenda but I'm seriously not running into it through my daily sports cycle.
My beef is really the flip flopping of tony dungy while hiding behind spiritual belief. Either go all in or keep it behind close doors. You can support murders, women beaters, people who step out of their marriage, bullies, alcoholics, poor role models, animal abusers and then say i draw the line at g@y men but thats just my opinion?

This reminds me of Lebron all over again. The i dont mind that he left Cleveland, i just dont like how or why he did it crowd. It mostly sounds like you guys dont care that hes g@y, you just wish he and the media you're exposed to would stfu about it?
