Golden nugget l81 death no reason

Sorry for the long read but please advice Hi guys so I got a l81 for over 3 months , and today when I was looking at my fishing I notice the pleco whiskers was fanning out for no reason then I notice he was like standing on his fins ( mouth not touching bottom of the tank ) then I tooked him out notice he was dead then I put him in a bowl of water then put an air pump , then I put him back into the tank he was breathing but not moving then after 30 mins or so I notice he was fanning his whiskers again I tooked him out I notice his mouth was close ( like him eating an cucumber )I try the same step again but fail this time ,,, help , water are fine

IMO gold nuggets are very sensitive at first. I have heard more death of these pleco than any other plecos(from fish keeper to fish store owner) good water quality from the start is the key to get them pass
the danger period. They can from 1 week to a few months. I lost 2 in the pass myself. I can tell you once these nugget start eating and get pass the danger period they are very hardy pleco. I dnt have a answer to why your nugget died but these are a pain in the *** gamble type of pleco just like the blue fins panaque.

Just an 6 inch arowana , he's 7-8inch , cucumber , mp , and thing else someone he sucks on mealworms
