There is a Fluval G3 on CL BNIB for $90.00. I was thinking of getting it foe a 40b growout tank. Are these filters any good? Worth $90?

Thanks

Ive heard they are decent for small tanks. My friend set one up in his pet shop to try to sell them but they are pretty limited in filtration capabilities and those cartridge arent cheap. 90 is a steal though but id still pay a few bucks more for an eheim 2217

Thanks for the reply. I don't even need to filter just thought if it was a killer deal and they worked awesome I would grab it?:hitting:

This filter will control a heater right? Any heater or just a Fluval?

We'll I went to buy just the AquaClear 110 and ended up getting all this BNIB plus driftwood for 150.00. Sweet deal

So I guess I will see how I like the G3 and do a review in the future. I may put in on the Nano tank?

geee good deal, that wood is wicked!

any chance you would want to try the G3 on a larger tank? Have been thinking of getting a G6 for a 240gallon but unsure how well it will work.. the tank sits dead bang in the center of a room so need a clean looking filter lol.

Overpriced and underwhelming performance. There's a reason they stopped making them.

Fair point shook, but it was a nice concept. For $90 I would have grabbed that in a heartbeat! Amazing pick-up for $150. Congrats
