Active fish that doesn't look like feeders?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think in this case it works not because they cant catch the gatf but because of the sheer numbers of tank mates that its in with. Also in this video it looks like the gatf are maybe 6-7" and havnt really got their super aggressive behaviours yet. If it was just an mbu, gatf, and armatus id bet it would be a whole different ball game. You can always try though. It depends mainly on the personality of ur specific fish.

Here is a measured 12 inch GATF that was donated to this tank but didn't get accepted into the group of VATF's and became a feeder. This was 3 weeks ago...next to the alpha male VATF this GATF was an inch bigger. Perhaps the smallest of the group who was treated for internal parasites is 8 inches... but they are not 6-7". The bigger ATF's in the video have since grown.

Don't ever talk about an Asian dude's size. We get offended! :ROFL:But beside from that... I agree, it has everything to do with the personalities of your specific fish. Having a 'pair' of Mbu's is rare. You should jump on it.

Thank you for all your input! :D

I got the MBU pair, and they were smaller than the Armatus! :o but their girth is wide!

Let's hope they get along with each other! :D If it doesn't work out, I have a 72G spare!
