Jaguar Cichlid -Male or Female??

Hello fish experts,

I recently bought a Jaguar cichlid and it is close to 3 inches long.. any indication that it might be male or female with the pictures posted? I know it might be too young to tell but maybe someone can see any indications.

Still on the small side to guess with any accuracy but I'd say male. But post again when it's closer to 6-7 inches

29 gallon. Upgrading to a 75 gallon soon. Btw..how do you know if my JD is male?

Your gonna have a dead convict and a dead JD if you only go to a 75. Jags are notoriously mean compared to other SA cichlids.

Nice Jaguar man! Mines just a tad bigger than he/she im not sure how to sex them
