Thank you. Your poly will be a monster in no time. I bought mine about the same size. Within a year they were almost most 10 inches. Their growth rate will usually slow down at around 12 inches, but they'll start to grow thicker. Not all ploys will grow fast or big (especially captive breed bichir) because of inbreeding. I feed mine market shrimp, tilapia filet, whole smelt, massivor pellets, and live bullfrogs. My small ploys (8-12 inches) eats twice a day and my monsters eats once every other day.
