FL gars probably wouldn't work but any number of the other Lepisosteus should, especially if locally caught.

Wow,at over twenty feet in length and just about four feet deep you consider that small and shallow.I guess my pond would be a water droplet to you if you saw it lol.kind of small, and shallow i can not think of nothing.
No offense taken,I was rather impressed that you are in a position to find such dimensions small.I chose to quote what I was referring to so no need to include everything else.I wasn't calling you out on anything so there was nothing to be taken out of context.
You guys have Lepisosteus osseus, the longnose gar.I'm liking the gar idea. I think it'd be pretty cool in the pond. Gars aren't local here in Jersey, or are they?, but I should be able to get one. Thanks for the ideas everyone.
