Do any of you keep Degu?

I actually haven't seen any in a shop in quite a number of years and I had forgotten all about them until this group refreshed my memory today.They look like miniature chinchillas.

I love chinchillas. But I already have enough pet plus they need dust baths every week

They're interesting little creatures.I don't see myself getting any anytime soon but I did a little reading on them and I didn't see anything about dusting them as someone mentioned earlier.

Yeah I watched a vet programme and they showed a chinchilla in a bowl with dust and the chinchilla rolled in it. It's supposed to be good for there skin

They're interesting, but I'll stick to herps for now. Too much work to keep mammals
