I'm not too familiar with arowanas, could be the case, but I think Australian arowana or jardini is silver as well, but referred to as jardini not silver, but not to sure about this.

Jardini and silver are two different aros. There is actually like 5 or 6 different arowana species.

Jardini are not silver arowana. Two different aros.
